As a principal in Greybrook's Capital Markets group Mr. Cucuz is responsible for providing investment banking and corporate advisory services to Greybrook portfolio companies and external clients within the firm’s chosen industries. Prior to joining Greybrook Capital in 2005, Mr. Cucuz began his career with two major Canadian bank owned firms, CIBC and TD Securities. Since joining Greybrook Capital Mr. Cucuz has been involved in the structuring and execution of a number of equity and debt financings for portfolio companies including Brandimensions Inc., Occulogix Inc., Plazacorp Partners, Greybrook Credit Corporation, NuLogx Inc. and TearLab Corporation. In addition, Mr. Cucuz has been involved as a primary financial advisor to Occulogix, NuLogx, BrandProtect and TearLab Corporation.
In addition to his primary corporate finance responsibilities Mr. Cucuz is co-head of the team responsible for originating and evaluating new acquisitions.
Mr. Cucuz graduated from Toronto’s York University in 2000 earning a degree in Economics. After graduation Mr. Cucuz played professional hockey for 3 seasons in the Philadelphia Flyers farm system.
